Overview: An estimated $125 billion dollars is expected to be spent in the near future on oil sands development. All existing and future operators are committed to a safe, reliable, cost effective and environmentally responsible operation. To accomplish this requires the application of state-of-the-art water management practices and technologies. This CONRAD workshop is dedicated to presenting the latest in technical information related to water management practices for oil sands operations from research and development to operational experience.
